Does my device qualify?

To receive the best trade-in estimate your device must be able to tick off all the below criteria.

To be eligible for the trade-in top-up promotion your current device must have a value greater than £1.

Your device powers up and functions normally
Your device display is in good condition (no dents)
Your device has no obvious signs of liquid damage
Your device does not gave any engraving / personalisation
Your device keys, buttons or trackpad are in good condition
You have the device power adaptor for Mac devices
Your device is free of any Device Management or Find My service.

How do I prepare my device before I trade it in?

How long does the online trade-in process take?

Generally it takes around 2 weeks. Your trade-in device needs to be sent to us as soon as possible. The sooner we receive your trade-in, the sooner we can verify its condition and process your credit. It may take 2–5 business days for your credit to be processed back to your payment method.

How do I send my old device back?

Follow the Online trade-in calculator link and you will be guided through the process. You will be given a pre-paid shipping label and kept updated through each step of the process.

What happens if my quoted trade-in amount is different to the final evaluation?

You will have the option to request the return of your device.

Can I pay monthly when trading in?

Yes.

In-store: We will apply the credit before starting your agreement.

Online: We will credit your agreement after it has been processed with your trade-in value.

There may be rare occasions with high value trade-ins and Easy Upgrade where we cannot apply the full value of your trade-in due to how it affects the finance agreement. Online customers will be credited to the highest value possible on their finance agreement before given an online voucher for the remaining. In-store customers will be offered different options from changing the length and type of finance agreement to adding additional accessories.

Trade in values are estimates only. Trade in values cannot be determined until the device has been inspected. Not all devices are eligible for credit. You must be at least 18 years old to be eligible to trade in. Trade-in value must be applied towards a qualifying new device purchase. Actual value awarded is based on receipt of a qualifying device matching the description provided when estimate was made. In-store trade-in requires presentation of a valid photo ID. Offer may not be available in all stores, and may vary between in-store and online trade-in. iStore or its trade-in partners reserve the right to refuse or limit the quantity of any trade-in transaction for any reason.
